Huffington Post has an article criticizing Michele Bachmann because she wears bad shoes. I thought maybe she was wearing stinky old sneakers with her business suits. No, they're upset because she committed the unforgiveable sin of wearing backless sandals. Oh - and she wore pantyhose with them!!! OMG!!! What will the world think of us if we a elect a president who dresses like my grandma?
I'm disgusted by Bachmann's politics, but I'm more disgusted by HuffPo belittling a female candidate for the way she dresses. They didn't critique any of the men. What about Mitt Romney's mannequin hair. How about Rick Perry's over-padded shoulders? Should I mention Ron Paul's combover?
In an unrelated update, this afternoon when I was at Walmart I saw a baby with Steve Buscemi eyes.
Poor kid. I hope he grows out of it.

But Debbie, you posted a joke about Ms. Clinton's hair, and who cares? Beware of the pretty boys! If they are elected, we will go to hell in a hand basket!
in my opinion, fashion is not so important in politics. as long as the person is groomed well and is capable to lead the country for good, then i think he or she deserves more to have the position.
Moose, I don't pretend to be a responsible journalist. I'm just a crazy blogger.
Jhianne, I agree. If we spent less time worrying about their looks and paid more attention to what they said, we'd be much better off.
