How low can he go? Every time I think his campaign can't get any worse, they prove me wrong. Check out this new ad:

Any pretense of plausible deniability is gone. McCain IS playing the race card. Of all the images they could choose for this commercial, they used the black guy. Franklin Raines and Obama - and the Washington Post, which was the source McCain named when they first made the accusation - have all state that Raines is not and never has been one of Obama's economic advisors. Raines is a former CEO for Fannie Mae. Jim Johnson, who does have an official role in Obama's campaign, a former Fannie Mae chairman. Why isn't McCain using the white guy, Johnson?
Just look at the imagery in the ad. Spooky looking picture of Raines the black guy, followed immediately by a sweet and innocent looking white woman.
And the shot of Obama at the end - looking uppity, literally - and the angle emphasizes his African features. It makes his nose look wider and slightly flattened and his ears are sticking out. I'll say it - the shot makes him look like a monkey.
The images of Raines and Obama look almost caricatured to me. Like something you would've seen in the Deep South before the civil rights movement.
John McCain is so desperate that he's willing to destroy his own reputation and throw away a lifetime of trying to do good just to win an election. If he'll sell himself out, imagine what he'll do to us.
